FatZebra would like to advise Westpac merchants about the upcoming change scheduled by Westpac Bank to upgrade their acquiring platform.

The change is scheduled for Sunday 7th November 2021, between 02:30 and 03:30 AEDT.

Westpac will be upgrading the underlying infrastructure for their transaction switching and acquiring service.

There will be a complete outage for merchants acquiring via Westpac for up to one hour, between 02:30 and 03:30 AEDT.

Westpac merchants are advised to minimise the processing of transactions during the change window to reduce the likelihood of impacts.
